What to do with spare TV ad inventory

So perhaps I could buy a TV ad targeted just at me, and generate the content on the fly. Like, maybe it could be a list of upcoming birthdays of family and friends. That would be useful to encounter ambiently in the evening, like the calendar on the fridge but in my front room.

La prose de Johnny Sanphillippo sur son blog Granola Shotgun m'avait manqué ces derniers temps. Ses comptes-rendus de la vie à San Francisco sont toujours d'une délicatesse et d'une empathie qui défient les excès et l'hubris de la Tech qu'il doit y tolérer. En y retournant à l'occasion, j'ai découvert qu'il avait simplement changé d'hébergeur et au passage d'URL pour son flux RSS. Je me suis donc offert une soirée de rattrapage pour lire une douzaine de nouveaux textes. Et j'en ai profité pour extraire une subversive citation dans son billet Smart Cities and Finance :

During the Q & A I asked why her otherwise prosperous town needed federal assistance and corporate sponsorship to keep the street lights on. A century ago all towns managed this sort of basic maintenance from local revenue even though they were far poorer. Isn’t that an indication that there’s a larger underlying problem that needs to be addressed first? She had no answer. That’s not the kind of question people are supposed to ask at a tech convention…
